I have waited to review this product for a while. This is probably the best TV we have had in our house. I did a lot of research before I bought this brand and model. Would recommend the you find a dealer that has several top line TV's to look at, take the time and go and compare.The Diamond series is far superior to other brands

I did not originally order what I eventually received because the vendor said that they didn't have any of this model available because the one they had on hand had to be sent for repair. Instead my order was changed, with my permission, to the LT-52153 model. They told me that they would upgrade my purchase at no cost to me, but I didn't realize that the upgrade didn't have the features that the original one I ordered had. It has no RCA video imputs so I can't plug in any of my video players and recorders that don't have HDMI outputs. It doesn't have S-VHS inputs which causes similar problems, nor does it have optical audio inputs, nor a computer input so I can't use it as my computer monitor. I was not told that this would be the case with the "UPGRADE". They just said that unnecessary inputs would not be a feature in this upgrade model. They also told me that the LT-52246 model is no longer in production. I wish they would have given me the specs of the upgrade model LT-52153 so that I could have made a more intelligent decision before I bought the upgrade. The upgrade does have a 16 speaker sound board projector which enhances the onboard sound system, but I have a stereo system that I use for my audio. This model is suppose to automatically recognize when a external device has been plugged in, but it took me a very long time for my HD TV to recognize them, and it took me even longer to balance the color, brightness, picture, contrast, tint, and even screen size. I must admit that the picture, after a lot of tweeking, is fabulous, but I was told that the LT-52246 picture is as good as the upgrade. So my overall score for this TV is picture: A+, ease of setup: E-, and audio: A+. Ease of use of features: D-.

Quality difference VS anything we veiwed. Had mine calibrated, tech. said brand was better than most out of the box, but after WOW. HD will make you a believer. Three months later still impressed VS new LCD sets. Have High end Sony also, this is better picture. This is the smallest frame 52" available at purchase.

This was the first time we have bought something this large on line. My son researched it and thought it to be a good purchase. We had him order it, with fear and trepidation. It arrived within 10 days and was very easy to hook up. The picture is great and even brought a rave from the cable guy when he was there installing a new outlet.

I recently purchased this television and I love it. As with all large LCD, DLP, or plasma, the picture is not very good if you are not watching Hi-Def programming. But the Hi-Def picture is perfect. I watched the Lakers/Magic playoff game last night and could not have been more pleased with the picture.
The design of the tv is wonderful as well. It has a semi-matte screen and when the tv is on I have not seen ANY reflections (which is why I did not buy a samsung). When the tv is off the reflections are minimal. The bezel around the tv is very small which makes it very attractive for wall mounting. The remote is actually pretty nice and lights up.
